10 Walt Disney World Snacks That Are Worth the Hype

January 22, 2025

When you’re heading to Walt Disney World, one thing is certain: snacks are a must! But not just any snacks— snacks that are so iconic, they’re practically attractions themselves!

Whether you’re hunting for the perfect treat to cool down on a hot day, craving something savory to tide you over until your next big meal, or simply can’t resist a Mickey-shaped treat, Disney has you covered.

Of course, these aren’t the only tasty snacks in Walt Disney World. But these are the snacks that people can’t stop talking about – the treats that stay with you long after your trip is over.

Dole Whip

The queen of Disney snacks! This pineapple soft-serve isn’t just delicious—it’s also vegan. Over the years, Disney has rolled out other flavors – many of them only stick around a short while before something else is introduced. But my personal favorite is the Dole Whip float, which is the classic pineapple soft-serve with pineapple juice.

Because it’s hot 99% of the time I visit Florida, Dole Whip is always the perfect way to cool down in between rides. While Aloha Isle, in Magic Kingdom, is the most popular spot to grab one, you’ll also find Dole Whip at other locations across the Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs – my favorite being Pineapple Lanai, at the Polynesian Village Resort.

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

It’s not just a snack—it’s a rite of passage! Yes, it’s a simple treat: vanilla ice cream coated in rich chocolate and shaped like Mickey Mouse.

But there’s something about eating it at Disney that makes it taste extra magical. Is it the pixie dust in the air? Or maybe there’s a secret ingredient that the store-bought versions just don’t have? We still don’t know. But, whatever it is, everyone needs to eat at least 1 on their trip.

Soft Pretzels (Mickey-Shaped, of Course!)

Who can say no to a Mickey-shaped soft pretzel? They’re warm, perfectly chewy, and come in various flavors like classic salted and sweet cream cheese-stuffed. Honestly, they’re the perfect combo of comfort food and Disney magic.

I’ll admit, I’ve eaten one as a full-on lunch more than once (no regrets!), but they’re also great as a snack – espeically if you’re sharing. You can find these at snack carts all over the parks—just let the mouthwatering smell of freshly baked pretzels lead the way!

Disney Beignets, found at Port Orleans French Quarter in Walt Disney World

Mickey Beignets

Who doesn’t love a warm, pillowy beignet? Coated in powdered sugar, these sweet treats are messy, magical, and downright delicious.

While you might spot beignets on the menu at the France Pavilion in Epcot, the ones you really want are over at Port Orleans – French Quarter.

Now, a quick note: my photo shows the classic square beignets I grabbed from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. But Disney has since changed it up – now they’re Mickey-shaped! Sassagoula Floatworks has the plain Mickey-shaped version. If you’re craving boozy beignets or beignets with dipping sauces, you’ll want to head to Scat Cat Club (still at French Quarter).

If you’re coming from the Parks, just hop on a bus to Port Orleans – French Quarter. Trust me, these beignets are absolutely worth the trip (and the powdered sugar all over your shirt)!

Popcorn in a Souvenir Bucket

Popcorn might seem simple, but at Disney, it’s iconic. Whether it’s the buttery classic or one of the seasonal flavors (hello, caramel and cheddar mix!), there’s something about munching on popcorn while walking through the Parks that just feels right – especially if you’re in Magic Kingdom.

And let’s not forget the refillable popcorn buckets! Not only are the souvenir buckets a fun keepsake, you can refill them for a discounted price throughout your trip – making it a great way to snack on a budget.

Night Blossom

If you’re strolling through Pandora in Animal Kingdom, the Night Blossom is a must-try! This vibrant, layered slushie combines tart limeade, sweet apple, and juicy pear flavors, all topped with passion fruit boba pearls that burst with flavor in every sip. It sounds weird, but trust me – it’s good!

In my family, the Night Blossom is one of our favorite Disney snacks—we can never resist grabbing one! It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot Florida day, and let’s be honest, the bright, bold colors practically beg to be added to an Instagram post. You’ll find this fan-favorite drink at Pongu Pongu, a quick-service stand right next to Satu’li Canteen. Trust me – no Disney trip is complete without getting one.

Cheeseburger Pods

If you’re at Animal Kingdom, don’t miss the Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora. They’re soft, fluffy bao buns stuffed with everything you love about a classic cheeseburger—including melty cheese, ketchup, mustard, and pickles.

The pods come with a side of crunchy slaw and chips, making them a great snack or quick meal. You can order them off of the adults menu. But, if you’re just looking for a quick snack, order them off the kids menu. You get one less cheeseburger pod, but you’ll also save $5.

Cheshire Cat Tail

The Cheshire Cat Tail is as fun as it is delicious! This flaky, buttery pastry is filled with sweet chocolate chips and topped with bright pink and purple icing that gives it that signature Alice in Wonderland charm.

You’ll find it at the Cheshire Café, right next to the Mad Tea Party in Magic Kingdom. It’s the perfect grab-and-go treat when you need something sweet between rides. Pair it with a cold brew or iced tea, and you’ve got yourself a delicious snack. Trust me, it’s as tasty as it looks!

Monorail going through Epcot

Loaded Fries

If you’re in the mood for something savory, loaded fries are the way to go! Imagine crispy, golden fries smothered in toppings like melted cheese, crispy bacon, pulled pork, or even chili cheese. It’s one of the best Disney snacks (or meal) to satisfy that salty craving.

They’re shareable – but you might not want to share when you take that first bite. You can grab these at spots like Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Magic Kingdom, Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom, and even during Epcot’s festivals. Whether you want a quick snack or just want something to tide you over until your next dining reservation, loaded fries are always a good choice!

Ronto Wrap (and Zuchii Wrap)

If you’re heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios, the Ronto Wrap and Zuchii Wrap are must-tries!

The Ronto Wrap is packed with tender, roasted pork, a juicy sausage, tangy slaw, and a zesty sauce—all wrapped in a soft, warm pita. It’s smoky, savory, and perfect for fueling up while you explore Batuu.

If you’re looking for a plant-based option, the Zuchii Wrap is flavorful and delicious. It’s filled with grilled zucchini, smoky chickpea-onion slaw, creamy garlic-tahini sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro, all in the same pillowy pita. (This is the one I eat!)

Neither wrap comes with sides, so they’re more of a snack or light bite than a full meal—but they’re filling enough to hold you over until your next meal. You can grab them at Ronto Roasters, right in the heart of Galaxy’s Edge. Whichever one you choose to get, you won’t be disappointed.
