With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening up in Walt Disney World on August 29, 2019, Disney is expecting lower than normal attendance during the summer.
Does this mean that the Parks will be at “low crowd level”? Of course not
But, guests who normally visit Walt Disney World in the summer are presumably pushing their next visit back a month or two, so they may experience the brand new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it opens.
As a result, Disney is releasing deals that we may not normally see for this time of the year. The Summer One World Ticket is this kind of a deal.
New Summer One World Ticket At Walt Disney World

What this the Summer One World Ticket?
The Summer One World Ticket will give Guests 6 admission tickets between June 4 and August 28, 2019.
Guests will receive one entry into each of the 4 Theme Parks, as well as the 2 Water Parks on Walt Disney World Property.
While there is a bit of flexibility to the Tickets, they should not be confused with the Park Hopper Plus Tickets.
Park Hopper Plus Tickets also include Park Hopper, which means you can visit more than one Park per day, without having to use more than one Park Ticket.
This Summer One World Ticket does allow visiting more than one Park per day. But, if you start your day at Magic Kingdom and then hop over to Epcot for Illuminations, it should be noted that you will have used up 2 of your 6 Park Tickets.

How much does the Summer One World Ticket cost?
The price for this ticket is $444 (plus tax) per person, ages 3 and up.
This ends up being $74/ ticket!
Anyone who has purchased a lot of Walt Disney World Tickets will tell you that this is a good price, especially in the Peak Summer Season.

Will the Summer One World Ticket save you money?
I’ve done the calculations and in every scenario that includes Water Parks, I found that this brand new ticket option will save you money.
Just a note…Disney rounds up on their new Date-Based Calendar, which is why the calculations will seem a little off.
To avoid the most confusion, I inputted the numbers shown on the calendar and the pre-tax price, in case you’d like to check them out yourself.
Park Hopper Plus
The most comparable Ticket Option that Disney has is the Park Hopper Plus. This is the only combined ticket option that also gives you access to the Water Parks.
- 4-Day Park Hopper Plus – Ages 10+
- Lowest Priced Day – $126 = $500.22
- Highest Priced Day – $136 = $540.50

Separate Tickets
If you only plan on visiting one of the Water Parks once during your trip, purchasing your tickets separately is usually a good option, especially if you also don’t like Park Hopping.
- 4-Day Base Tickets – Ages 10+

- Highest Priced Day – $111 = $440.50

- Highest Priced Day – $106 = $422.88
- 1 Water Park Ticket – Ages 3 – 9

Who does this Ticket benefit?
This Ticket is perfect for families who don’t Park Hop and have an interest in wanting to experience all 4 Theme Parks plus the 2 Water Parks at Walt Disney World.
Park Hopper Plus does give you additional benefits, like Park Hopping throughout your trip and multiple days in the Water Parks.
But, due to time restrictions or other factors, Park Hoppers don’t always work out for families. And Water Park Tickets can go unused if you just visit the Water Parks once during your trip.
The Summer One World Ticket ends up being the best solution for these families due to its lower price and the appropriate amount of tickets for a typical one week trip to Walt Disney World.
And with the only time restriction being that the tickets must be used during the Redemption Period, Florida Residents, who do not currently have any annual Passes, and Guests spending an extended vacation in Florida also get a nice discount and something to do throughout the summer.
