OMG…this is exciting! With just about 2 months left before the opening of Toy Story Land, Fastpasses are now being released to Disney Resort Guests to grab!
Why Only Disney Resort Guests?
When you stay on Disney Property, you have the luxury of booking Fastpasses for your entire trip 60 Days prior to check-in.
Assuming you will be visiting Walt Disney World prior to opening day and plan to be in Hollywood Studios for its Grand Opening, your window is officially open (or will be opening very shortly, depending on your check in date).
Not staying on property? Not to fear, you will have your chance to grab those Fastpasses 30 days prior to your check-in date.
Regardless of your check-in date, these Fastpasses will go FAST so my advice would be to grab them as soon your window opens. (Last year, I set my alarm to grab Flight of Passage Fastpasses as soon as my window opened. Even with a date close to the end of my trip, meaning my Animal Kingdom day was 65 days away, I had only 1 time to choose from, 5:45 PM!) Don’t delay!

The FastPasses
Much like Pandora in Animal Kingdom, you will only be able to grab 1 Fastpass for any of the rides in Toy Story Land, meaning you will have to wait in line for the other 2 rides. (It sounds as though Toy Story Mania will be included in this deal, even though it’s already a current attraction.) However, even if it will be included in the 1 Fastpass deal, you still have your other 2 Fastpasses for the other rides and attractions in the park.
But that’s not all…
Disney realizes that Toy Story Land is going to be very popular. To give guests the best chance of visiting this new land, Hollywood Studios will have more Extra Magic Hours as well as extended Park Hours.
From July 1st, until further notice, Hollywood Studios will be open from 8 AM to 10 30 PM. Early Extra Magic Hours will be held daily (giving you even more of a reason to stay on property) and Evening Extra Magic Hours will be held once a week.
