Planning a Disney vacation sounds like a dream, right? You’re picturing the magic, the memories, and the excitement. But then, reality sets in—and before you know it, you’ve got a million tabs open. And yet – you’re still no closer to your perfect Disney vacation than you were two weeks ago.
At this point, you’re probably wondering if a Travel Agent can help you figure this all out.
But even that brings up a whole new set of questions:
- Can Travel Agents save me money for my Disney trip?
- How much control will I have for my vacation if I work with someone?
- What about rides and dining reservations—will I still get to handle those myself?
Here’s the thing—most people don’t actually know what a Travel Agent does. Some don’t even realize we still exist! So, let’s talk about it. What do Travel Agents really do, and more importantly—can we actually save you money on your next Disney vacation?

What Do Travel Agents (Who Specialize in Disney) Do?
A lot of people assume that Travel Agents—especially those of us who plan Disney vacations—just book tickets and hotels. And some even think we have secret discounts just for booking through us.
But I’m being truthful – if all we did was book tickets and rooms, would you really need us? Anyone can hop online and press a button. That’s why so many people assume we’re unnecessary.
Of course, choosing a hotel and tickets are a part of the process. But the real magic? It’s in the planning.
When I visit the parks, I see stressed-out families all the time—and I don’t want that to be you. We handle the logistics, help you avoid common pitfalls, and customize your plans so everything flows smoothly. No last-minute scrambling. No unexpected stress. Just the magical, stress-free vacation you’ve been dreaming of.

And here are some ways we make that happen:
- We match you with the right Resort—not just for your budget but for your experience. Because let’s be real, some resorts are not ideal when you’re traveling with a stroller.
- We help you pick the right tickets based on your family’s needs and expectations—whether that means Park Hoppers or something else entirely.
- We stay on top of Disney’s changes, promotions, and special events to make sure your plans are always up-to-date. I hate to tell you, but if you’re studying up on Genie+, you’re reading outdated information – and unfortunately, accidentally following old info could lead to mistakes that mess with your plans.
- We give you the inside scoop on crowd strategies and how to make the most of every day – so you’re not wasting time waiting in lines.
- We make sure everything is linked properly. Showing a Cast Member that you bought tickets isn’t enough to get you inside the Parks. Trust me, you don’t want to learn the hard way.
When you work with a Travel Agent who specializes in Disney, we know exactly what needs to be done to set you up for success. We make sure everything is ready to go so you don’t run into problems when you arrive.
Because what we do goes way beyond just booking—we take the stress off your shoulders and make sure your Disney vacation is everything you’ve dreamed of… and then some.

How Do Travel Agents Save You Money at Disney?
When you’re planning your Disney vacation, it’s easy to get caught up in recreating the vacations you see online—luxury resort stays, Park Hoppers, VIP tours, exclusive experiences…
It all looks amazing, right?
But here’s the thing: once you start adding up all those extras, you quickly realize just how expensive that kind of trip actually is. In fact, NerdWallet recently estimated that a family of four spends anywhere from $6,463 to $15,559 on a Disney vacation.
But is that really the experience you want—or just the one social media makes you think you need?
The truth is, most families don’t need (or even want) all those high-end add-ons. What they do want is a trip that fits their budget and gives them memories with their family.
That’s where I come in. I help you separate the “must-haves” from the “nice-to-haves” so you’re not paying for things you don’t actually need. I make sure you’re getting the right experiences for your family—without overspending.

The Truth About Third-Party Disney Tickets and Packages
I get it—when you’re planning a Disney trip, every dollar counts. It’s easy to see why third-party companies (including Costco) seem like a great deal. You spot a lower price—maybe it’s even a bundle with hotels or other perks. It feels like a huge win!
But here’s what they don’t tell you:
- That lower price? It might not be the deal you think it is. Sure, when you’re comparing apples to apples, the ticket price looks better. But is it actually what you need? If you buy the wrong type of ticket, you could still end up spending more than what’s necessary anyway.
- You’re on your own if something goes wrong. I’ve seen families show up to Disney, excited to start their trip, only to find out they never linked their tickets to their My Disney Experience account. Without someone to remind you to do this (or do it for you), you’re left standing in line at Guest Services while everyone else is already riding Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
- There’s no one to guide you through the process. Third-party sites are what we call OTAs (or Online Travel Agents). They sell tickets and hotel reservations, but they don’t help you make sense of them. There’s no one to offer you advice on what you actually need, no strategy for saving money, and no support if you’re stuck. To them, you’re just another booking.
When you book with me, I make sure everything is set up properly from the start. No surprises, no wasted time—just a seamless, stress-free vacation where you can focus on making memories instead of fixing mistakes.
