If you’re heading to Walt Disney World with kids, choosing the best stroller rental for Walt Disney World is going to be your best option. Even if your child hasn’t used one in years or they promise they’ll walk the whole time, plan to get a stroller.
Because here’s the thing—Disney is magical, but it’s also exhausting. The average Guest walks over 10 miles a day, and even the most energetic kids eventually hit a wall. One minute they’re racing to the next ride, and the next, they’re in full meltdown mode because their legs just can’t go any farther.
And honestly? I don’t blame them. Disney tired is a whole different level of tired.
That’s why having a stroller isn’t just helpful—it’s a lifesaver. But before you assume Disney’s rental strollers are the answer, let’s talk about why they might not be the best option.

Why Disney’s Strollers Aren’t Worth It
Disney does offer a stroller rental, but it’s not the best option for getting around the parks. While the idea of not having to bring your own stroller sounds great, Disney’s stroller rental comes with some major downsides:
- They’re hard plastic. Not exactly the comfy ride your little one needs after a long day. Plus, they’re not ideal for very small children who still need extra support.
- They all look the same. Cast Members often rearrange strollers to make space, and when every rental looks identical, spotting yours in a sea of strollers can be frustrating.
- You can’t take them out of the Parks. That means when you leave, you’re on your own. If you’re staying at a large resort like Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans – Riverside, the last thing you want is to carry a sleeping child all the way back to your room.
- They’re pricey. The cost of this stroller rental adds up quickly, especially considering you only get to use them inside the Parks—not at your Resort, Disney Springs, or anywhere else.
- They’re first come, first served. If you’re not among the first Guests to enter the park in the morning, you run the risk of strollers selling out. Not exactly the stress-free start you were hoping for.

The Better Option: Pick A Stroller Up At MCO
So, if Disney’s strollers aren’t the best choice, what is? Rent one from Kingdom Strollers—and pick it up at MCO.
Kingdom Strollers is the only stroller rental company with a counter at Orlando International Airport (MCO). When we traveled with our then-9-month-old, my husband grabbed the stroller while the rest of us headed to baggage claim. By the time our luggage arrived, our son was already settled in—safe, secure, and not trying to crawl away while we wrangled suitcases.
After that experience? I’ll never go back to lugging our own stroller through the airport or dealing with the stress of other rental companies at Disney. Here’s why:
- Pickup is easy. Other rental companies require you to schedule a time to meet them at Disney, which can be a headache if your flight is delayed. With Kingdom Strollers, your stroller is waiting for you at MCO—no coordinating, no stress.
- Drop-off is just as easy. When your trip is over, simply return it at the same counter and respond to their text to let them know you returned it. No waiting around for a handoff.
- Way more comfortable than Disney’s strollers. These are real strollers with full recline, storage space, and sunshades—everything you need for long Park days.
- You can take them anywhere. Parks, Resorts, Disney Springs, Universal Studios (like we did)—wherever your trip takes you, your stroller goes too.
Using Kingdom Strollers made our trip so much easier. No stress about pickup times, no worrying about logistics—just grab it at MCO and go. Total game-changer.
If you want to make your Disney (or Universal) trip easier, you can check them out here: Kingdom Strollers.

Where to Find Kingdom Strollers at MCO
When you land at Orlando International Airport, you can pick up your stroller from Kingdom Strollers at their counter in Terminal A, Level 1, at the Wrap ‘N Fly counter.
If you’re taking a Mears Connect shuttle to your Disney Resort, head to Terminal B, Level 1 after you get your stroller and luggage—just follow the signs.
It’s easy to navigate the airport, and you can also use MCO’s app or website to view the airport map if you need extra help finding your way.

Making Your Disney Trip Easier
Little details can make a big difference. As a Travel Advisor, I only recommend companies I truly believe in—and that’s why Kingdom Strollers is my go-to for families traveling with small children. They made my trip easier, and I know they’ll do the same for you.
- Stress-Free Convenience – Your stroller is waiting for you at MCO as soon as you arrive—no scheduling, no stress!
- Added Comfort – These strollers are far more comfortable than Disney’s options.
- No Hassle – No lugging your stroller through the airport or dealing with complicated pickups.
