What is Walt Disney World like in the Fall?
Out of all the times my family has traveled to Walt Disney World, the month we’ve gone the most is in the month of September.
Why?
Because this is when the crowds are usually lower and the prices are cheaper. So, if you’re free to travel during this time, consider yourself lucky.
Many kids are just going back to school after being out of school all summer. So, parents are less likely to want to take a week off to travel somewhere at the beginning of the school year.
And aside from the smaller crowds and cheaper prices, there are events you won’t want to miss.
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
This year, the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is going on from July 14th through November 19th, 2022.
If you have not yet ridden Epcot’s brand new (and first!) roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, be sure to secure your Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane. You don’t want to miss this attraction!
This year, there are over 30 booths to choose from. So, it’s also the perfect time to eat and drink your way around the world.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Tickets are currently on sale for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Even if you don’t want to participate in the FREE Disney Gift Card offer, Tickets to this Special Event are available for purchase.
This special event takes place on select nights from August 12, 2022 through October 31, 2022. Tickets range from $109 to $199, depending on the date.
Fridays are always more expensive than Parties held during the week. And dates in August and September are lower in price than dates in October.
