New Walt Disney World Buses Have USB Charging Ports!

September 15, 2019

Earlier this summer, 6 new Disney buses were seen rolling around Walt Disney World.

However, as adorable as they are, it’s not the designs that are catching everyone’s attention.

The new Disney buses are equipped with USB charging ports.

New Character Buses

Starting this month, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto will be sharing the road with their Disney friends.

Popular characters from the movies The Lion King, Monsters Inc, and Moana will soon be traveling throughout Walt Disney World.

And before I have a chance todecide which design is my favorite, Disney promises that more designs are on the way.

With Frozen 2 being released on November 22, 2019, it is no surprise that a Frozen themed bus is on its way.

These new buses are just one of the ways Disney is improving how we travel around Walt Disney World.

We’ve recently seen similar wraps being added to the monorails. And everyone is anticipating the opening of the Disney Skyliner, scheduled to open on September 29, 2019.

Although Disney’s Minnie Vans don’t have a complete wrap, they do have decorative polka dots surrounding the vehicles, resembling the one and only, Minnie Mouse.

Moana Bus

As much as we love Disney, I think we can all agree that the buses were in need of a refresh.

So, it was just a matter of time before we saw the Disney buses receive a much needed update.

USB Ports

New blue seats and USB Charging Ports are coming to the new Disney Buses

When I first started hearing about the USB ports, I thought Disney was placing them in every bus.

Unfortunately, at this time, it is looking like not every bus will be equipped with them.

It’s very possible that Disney will add them in the future, depending on how well they perform. But at this time, only some of the new buses will be equipped with the USB ports.

The brand new USB ports can easily be found between the brand new blue seats.

Draining batteries are a common occurrence at Disney. There’s just too many magical memories to capture.

That’s why, even if I only have a few minutes, if there is a chance to charge my phone, I take it.
