Update September 11th – Universal Studios saw heavy wind and rain as a result of Irma last night. They will be assessing the damage today, but as of right now, they still plan on reopening the parks to guests on September 12th.
As of September 8, 2017, Universal Studios Florida has made the decision to close their parks in preparation for Hurricane Irma.
Universal Studios will close at 7pm on Saturday, September 9. They will be fully closed on Sunday and Monday, with the anticipation of returning to normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 12th.
If you need to change or cancel your travel plans, you may call 800-407-4275 or email reservations@universalorlando.com. They will not charge you a fee for these cancellations!
