Interactive Queues Make Waiting In Line A Lot More Fun
Waiting in line at Disney Word is inevitable. Even on “slow” days, you’re not going to find many rides where you can walk right up to and ride. We have gone during one of these “slow” days and the most popular rides still had wait times of over 2 hours! Sorry, Disney. As much as I love you, I will NOT be standing in 2 hour long lines to ride.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
You miss all of this fun if you have a Fastpass+, so if you want to try all the Interactive Activities that Mine Train has, try to hit this ride first thing in the morning, or go during a Ticketed Party, when the line can be a little shorter.
Ever since 7 Dwarfs Mine Train opened in 2014, it has been one of the most popular attractions. Luckily, Disney prepared ahead of time. They created a crazy-fun queue to keep little ones busy while waiting in line.
By far, the most popular part of the queue are the spinning barrels. When you spin, the gems on the ceiling turn into a picture of one of the dwarfs. Spin all 7 at the same time and you are treated to a hidden Mickey in the form of…you guessed it… Snow White! You must rely on others in the line, though, because if one barrel slows down, Snow doesn’t make an appearance.
We must have had some tired guests in line with us because we never did get to see Snow White. 😥
Doc also leaves a few other notes around to tell us of some other fun little games to play while you wait.
And now it’s time for the best part…the RIDE!
Everything about this ride is truly magical, which makes it on the list as one of the things I must do at the Magic Kingdom. The picture and video that magically show up on My Disney Experience is also an added bonus.
