If you’re a parent planning a Disney trip with your kids soon—and you’re looking for Disney-inspired Easter basket ideas that don’t involve candy—you’re in the right place!
Like many families, Easter baskets are a tradition in our family. And for years, filling them with candy is a no-brainer. But I’ve never been thrilled with the thought of loading up their baskets with a ton of sugar. I’ll leave that for the grandparents.
So, I’ve been switching things up with items my kids will actually use—and things that will get them excited about our next Disney trip.
Let’s look at some fun and creative ways to fill those baskets with magic before your big Disney adventure!

Easter Egg Fillers

Disney Pins
Disney pins are a classic souvenir, and they make great Easter egg fillers. They’re small, collectible, and perfect if your kids like to trade them in the Parks.
When it comes to buying them, you’ve got two main options:
- Buy Authentic Pins: If your kids are serious about collecting Disney Pins, authentic ones are the way to go. To make sure you’re getting the real deal, buy them directly from DisneyStore.com or in the Parks.
- Bulk Packs: Retailers like Amazon sell large packs of Disney pins at a great price, but be cautious—many of them are scrappers (aka fake pins). If your kids plan on trading them at the Parks or aren’t too picky about authenticity, these work just fine—after all, most of the pins traded in the Parks are scrappers anyway!

Gift Cards
Who doesn’t love a gift card? It’s an easy, go-to gift that always works. My kids get Disney gift cards before every trip, and Easter is the best time to do this. The best part? There are no rules – just a budget to stick to. They get to choose what they want—whether it’s merchandise, food, or extra experiences in the parks.
Pro Tip: Got a few Disney gift cards lying around? Combine the balances onto one card! It’s super simple, quick, and helps you stay on budget at the parks.

Jewelry and Accessories
Since Easter eggs are so small, it can be tricky to find little trinkets and collectibles that aren’t candy. You might have to hunt around a bit, but eventually, you’ll find something that fits just right.
Here are a few examples to get you started:
- Mickey Mouse Icon Flower Earrings by BaubleBar
- Minnie Mouse Earrings by BaubleBar
- Honey Pot Key Necklace
- Minnie Mouse Earring Set
- Toy Story Toys Earring Set
- Little Green Alien Earrings
Easter Basket Ideas

Plush
Who doesn’t love a cute plush? They’re perfect for Easter baskets because they’re fun, take up plenty of space, and often come at a great price. Here are some of the cutest ones I’ve found online right now:
- Minnie Mouse Bunny Plush
- Stitch Bunny Plush
- Angel Bunny Plush
- Baymax Sakura Plush
- Princess Plushs
- Winnie the Pooh Mini Mix-Its
- Mickey and Minnie Easter Set
Toys
Who doesn’t love a fun Disney toy? Since I try to avoid filling Easter baskets with too much candy, I love adding toys that kids can actually play with long after the candy’s gone. There are so many Disney toys out there, it’s easy to find ones that fit perfectly in an Easter basket.
- Funko Pocket Pop – Disney Princesses
- Funko Pocket Pop – Marvel
- Shake It Bluey
- Lightning McQueen as Easter Buggy Die cast
- Minnie Mouse Bubble Wand
- Disney 100 Metallic Rubik’s Cube
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Easter Hunt Book

MagicBands and Accessories
Nothing gets you more excited for your upcoming Disney vacation than a MagicBand. If you’re heading to Disney soon, MagicBands make an awesome gift. Plus, if you’re in the U.S., they’ll be shipped straight to your house right after you order them—no more waiting until the last minute to get them.
And if you’re getting a new MagicBand, don’t forget to grab a BitBelt! As great as MagicBands are, the clasps aren’t always the most reliable. That means there’s always a chance it could fall off during your trip.
After almost losing my MagicBand on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, I swore I’d never go to a Disney park without a BitBelt again. For just a few bucks, I know my MagicBand will stay secure, and I don’t have to worry about losing it.
Legos
Legos aren’t exactly cheap, we all know that! But the sets I’m sharing are on the smaller side, so they won’t break the bank like the big ones do. Plus, these smaller sets keep kids busy longer, so they’re a smart buy for the price.
- Asha’s Cottage from Wish
- Up House
- Mini Ariel’s Castle
- Moana’s Wayfinding Boat
- Peter Pan and Wendy Storybook
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Camping Trip
- Lego Minifigures
- Baby Groot Figure
