If you’ve ever attended a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party before, you’ll know just now much Guests love dressing up in their favorite Disney costume.
I love the idea of getting into the festive spirit. But, the Parks are just way too hot for me to justify getting my family any sort of elaborate costume…even if it is Disney themed.
That’s why I always aim for simple costumes. I want something that not only adheres to Disney’s costume rules, it enables my family to stay a little cooler in the Florida heat.
Oh yeah…and did I mention that they’re all under $30?
For The Kids
- Live Action The Little Mermaid dress is lightweight and comes in a variety of sizes, from 3T to 10/12
- This Moana t-shirt and skirt combo that goes from sizes 2T to 7/8
- An adaptive Jasmine costume for kids is on clearance! And it’s available in sizes XS through XL
- This Mirabel costume dress is also on clearance! And they’re still still available in select sizes from 3 to 9/10
- Costume shirts, like Spiderman, Darth Vader, or a 5-pack of Disney Princesses are perfect for the Parks
- But, two piece T-shirt and shorts combos, like Thor, Black Panther, or Captain America are even better
- One piece short sleeved rompers, like Mickey Mouse, Simba, and Winnie the Pooh keep babies cooler than wearing a full costume
- Or you can opt for a onesie and headband, like Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, or Ariel
For The Kids at Heart
- Costume shirts, like The Beast, Gaston, Buzz, or Woody are even great for those Kids at Heart who don’t like to dress up.
- A Minnie Mouse body suit and skirt is also a fun idea
- Personally I’m a big fan of fun accessories, like Minnie Mouse Bat Ears, Zero Ears Headband, Wall-E and Eve Loungefly Pins, Mickey Ghost earrings, and Disney100 Mickey Mouse Skeleton earrings
- You can also just get a festive T-shirt, like this Mickey Pumpkin T-shirt, Star Wars Creep Wars, or a Disney100 Spooky Ghosts shirt, if that’s more your thing
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Tickets
Tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, in Magic Kingdom, are selling quickly! If you’re thinking of attending one of the Parties this season, I wouldn’t recommend waiting too much longer. Currently, the closest available date is September 19, 2023. All parties before that are already sold out.
Disney is no longer selling tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash, in Disney California Adventure. Despite the Party not starting until September 5, 2023, all tickets are sold out for the entire Halloween Season.
And just as a reminder, please don’t purchase resold tickets to these events, or any Disney event. Reselling tickets for profit strictly goes against Disney’s policies.
Last year, Disney found many people who resold their tickets. And it appears they’re doing the same thing this year. This means that not only are you purchasing tickets for more than what they’re worth, the ticket sold to you has a good chance of already being flagged in the system and anyone who tries to use that ticket will be denied entry.
