Mickey is celebrating his 90th Birthday today, alongside his favorite mouse, Minnie. I can’t forget my girl is also turning 90 today!
How are you celebrating this famous duo today?
Mickey Waffles
They may not be Disney Parks Mickey waffles, but they’re the next best thing. Everything tastes better when they’re Mickey shaped, right?
Money-saving deal: Shop Disney sells this waffle maker for $25, but you can find the same exact waffle maker for $16.99 at CVS. I had a 15% off coupon that I used to buy it, but one day later, I received a 25% off coupon in my email.
Watch Your Favorite Mickey Short/Movie
Whether you like Classic Mickey Shorts or the new Mickey Cartoons, today is the day to binge watch them all! As if we need a reason to binge watch…
You can find some great ones on YouTube or one of my favorite apps, Mickey Video.
Do Something Good
Wishing Wells

If you’re lucky enough to be in a Walt Disney World Park, throw some change in the wishing wells. Wonder where all that money goes? Disney regularly scoops up that change. Once a year, they donate that money to nonprofit charities geared towards helping children.
Just this year, $20,000 was donated to Community Based Care of Central Florida. They are largest supporter of child welfare programs in Central Florida. They support more than 3,000 children each day with services like foster care, adoption, mentoring, and youth transitional services.
“These coins represent wishes made by our guests in a magical place, but the funding the coins provide will make a very real impact on our community.” – Tajiana Ancora-Brown, director of external affairs at Walt Disney World Resort
Fountains are located throughout Walt Disney World. The most iconic locations are the Cinderella Castle Wishing Well and the moat in line for “It’s A Small World.” But, you can find other locations scattered about Walt Disney World.
#ShowYourEars
Every year, Disney promotes its Show Your Ears campaign. For every photo you post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShowYourEars, Disney will donate $5, up to $1 Million, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
You’re going to be posting the pictures anyway, so you may as well be helping children while you’re at it!
Don’t have any Mickey ears? That’s ok! Get creative! Just remember to use the hashtag and you’re doing your part.
