Although we like to purchase Dining Plans at Disney World and Universal Studios, we like to eat breakfast in the hotel room to save time and money in the morning. We also bring extra snacks to have on hand for when the kids start saying “I’m hungry” (which seems like always with 2 growing boys).
When we drive, it’s no big deal. We just pack the car and we’re on our way. However, flying is another story. I don’t like paying for overweight luggage and since we use shuttles to take us to Disney World and Universal Studios, getting to the nearest store to pick up a few things is easier said than done. And, really, who wants to take time out of their vacation to grocery shop? I certainly don’t.
That’s why I like grocery deliver companies like Orlando Grocery Express. I can order everything ahead of time, and they drop it off at the hotel for me. It’s so convenient. Plus, I like the fact that I can have some fresh fruits and veggies to munch on. We were looking for a snack during our last vacation and a single banana had a price tag of over $2. This way, I can buy a bundle of bananas for the price of what the Parks charge for just 1.
Your order must come to at least $40 and they have a $14 delivery fee. If this seems like a lot, compare it to what the cost of shipping your items to your destination would be. Currently, a large Flat Rate Box will you cost you $18.85 to ship, and they really aren’t that big. When you think about it that way, the costs aren’t that bad.
Check them out and let me know what you think.
