How I Keep My Kids’ Bathroom Counter Clean(er)

February 9, 2017

I may have an unhealthy obsession with Mason Jars. I drink out of them, I make banks out of them, AND I use them to keep toothpaste out of my bathroom sinks (hopefully).

I was tired of constantly cleaning up toothpaste that my kids left on the counter top because their electric toothbrushes wouldn’t fit into the standard toothbrush holders. Why have them if the toothbrushes won’t fit? I decided to do something about it.

When we moved into our current residence, I asked the boys what theme they wanted to have for their bathroom. They chose Marvel. So, I decided to make them something to hold their toothbrushes and toothpaste with their favorite Marvel hero on them.

I just googled “Iron Man silhouette” and “The Hulk Silhouette” and I picked images that I liked. A quick upload to my Cricut Design Space was all that needed to be done to get them ready to cut into some vinyl. The hulk was easy, since it is all one piece, but Iron Man took a little while longer due to the small pieces. But I love how it turned out, so it was worth the extra time.

And, of course, nothing would be complete without my Waltograph font. (Thanks, DaFont!)
