If you’ve been thinking that 2026 is the year you finally take that Disney vacation, this is for you. Walt Disney World already has some really great deals and perks. And they’re making a big difference for families who know how to use them.
Most people I talk to aren’t actively planning yet. They’re just starting to think, “Maybe this is the year we finally do it.” And that’s exactly why I wanted to bring this up, because there’s a lot happening at Walt Disney World right now that you don’t want to miss.
It’s not just one deal this year
One thing that really stands out this year is how different the promos are looking compared to past years.
Normally, Disney would roll out something like free dining early in the year, and then later on you’d see room discounts pop up. But you usually had to choose one or the other. You couldn’t stack them, and that meant a lot of back-and-forth trying to decide which option was “better.”
But not this year…
Instead of everything being locked into one big promo, there are perks that can be combined with discounts. That’s what’s creating these really well-rounded trips. They’re not just cheaper trips. They’re better ones.
That’s how a family I’m working is saving about $1,300 on their Disney vacation. It’s not one promo. We’re combining promos with perks to maximize their savings and improve their trip.
This includes free dining plans for the kids, bous savings like complimentary mini golf and discounts at certain stores, and extra park days.
Disney has also announced that they will be bringing back complimentary water park admission on check in day. We currently don’t have confirmed dates. But, it’s another great perk that many Walt Disney World guests will be able to stack with the already many great perks and deals that are already out there.
The catch is…you need to start planning now.
Walt Disney World deals don’t last forever
These deals and discounts aren’t unlimited.
Disney releases a set number of discounted rooms and packages. Once those are booked, any remaining rooms are sold at rack rate, even if the dates are still available.
It doesn’t mean Disney won’t release something else later, but it does mean you can miss out on the best options if you wait too long.
With Walt Disney World, waiting doesn’t lead to better prices. It just means you have fewer choices to choose from.
If Disney is a maybe for 2026
