Taking a baby or toddler to Walt Disney World looks different from the trips you may have taken before. You start noticing things you never paid attention to before. You start noticing things you never paid attention to before, like where the shade is, how loud a ride gets, and whether a line moves fast enough for a toddler who can’t stand still for long.
That means you need to think a few steps ahead. With babies and toddlers, it helps to know a little bit about all the Disney rides before you walk up to the entrance.
Once you know what to expect from the rides, it is much easier to plan your day.

Magic Kingdom with Babies and Toddlers
If you can only visit one park, this is the one to prioritize. It has the most rides for babies and toddlers in Walt Disney World.
Many rides in Magic Kingdom have no height requirement, and plenty of them are great options for little ones. It’s a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are simple, happy rides that toddlers usually adore.
But this is also where planning ahead becomes your best tool.
A few rides, like Pirates of the Caribbean, are darker and scarier than many parents expect for something with no height requirement. Understanding what the ride is like before you get in line makes the day much easier, because “they can ride it” and “they’ll enjoy it” are not always the same thing.

EPCOT with Babies and Toddlers
EPCOT is more spread out than the other parks with “big” attractions that are made for older kids. But the rides and shows that do work for little ones are usually calm, colorful, and easy for little ones.
One of the best toddler friendly options is Gran Fiesta Tour in the Mexico Pavilion. It is a gentle, slow moving boat ride with bright colors, happy music, and no sudden dark moments or drops. Most toddlers love it.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is another ride many little ones enjoy. Even though it’s more modern and uses screens, the ride is smooth. Many parents are surprised by how well their little ones handle it (myself included).
EPCOT also has many short, indoor shows that make great breaks in the middle of the day. Between the cool air and the dark theater, many little ones end up taking a quick nap while you rest your feet. If your toddler needs a few minutes to rest, these shows are often the easiest places to do it.

Hollywood Studios with Babies and Toddlers
Hollywood Studios is known for its thrill rides, but there are still a few that work really well for little ones.
Surprisingly, Toy Story Mania is one of the best Disney rides for babies and toddlers. There’s a little spinning, but it’s nothing like the teacups. Babies can sit on your lap, and the whole ride works like a giant video game. Toddlers love pulling the string to “shoot” virtual rings and other shapes at the targets on the screen, which keeps them entertained.
Hollywood Studios also has some of the best shows for this age group. The Disney Junior Dance Party is a huge hit with toddlers who love to jump, dance, and sing with their favorite characters. Frozen Sing-Along is another great option because it’s funny, familiar, and completely indoors. And yes, it even snows inside the theater, which toddlers absolutely love.

Animal Kingdom with Babies and Toddlers
Animal Kingdom has a different feel than the other parks, and many parents don’t realize how much there is for little ones to enjoy. It’s not a regular zoo by any stretch. Disney works its magic to make sure there’s rides, trails, and shows here that babies and toddlers end up loving.
Na’vi River Journey is a great option for little ones. It’s a slow-moving boat ride with soft music, glowing colors, and no sudden drops or dark surprises. Babies can sit on your lap, and most toddlers find it relaxing.
Animal Kingdom also has walking trails like Gorilla Falls and Maharajah Jungle Trek with animals and a Wilderness Explorers scavenger hunt. Kids can collect badges (stickers) around the park.
Animal Kingdom is one of those parks that benefits from an early start, so it’s great for early risers. The morning hours are cooler, the animals are more active, and your toddler will have more energy before the afternoon heat sets in.

Free Disney Ride and Show Guide for Babies and Toddlers
Planning a Disney day with babies and toddlers is much easier when you’re not guessing. Every parent has stood outside a ride entrance wondering if it’ll be too dark, too loud, or too much. And when you’re already managing naps, snacks, and stroller parking, the last thing you want is to look up ride details on the spot.
That’s why I put this guide together. It includes all rides and shows, the height limits, a quick description of what the ride actually does, and a simple scare scale so you know what to expect before you ever walk up to the entrance. You can focus on what your child will truly enjoy and skip the rest.
A Disney day with little ones always feels easier when you know what to expect. I hope this guide makes planning easier and helps you feel ready for the trip you want to have, not the one you feel pressure to keep up with.
